You may want to call your carrier directly if:

  • It’s after-hours, a weekend, or a holiday, and you need to report a loss now

  • You’re on the scene of an accident and need immediate claims support or roadside assistance

  • You need to check claim status or make a payment directly to the carrier

  • Date and time of the loss

  • Location of the loss

  • Names and contact info for any other parties involved
